Pennsylvania State Police will hold a scam prevention presentation 10 a.m. Dec. 19 at the East Allen Township Municipal Building, 5344 Nor-Bath Blvd.

Criminals attempt to deceive individuals for financial gain with scams every day. This presentation will show you how to protect yourself and loved ones against scams. Topics will include telephone, banking, tax scams and much more.

Light refreshments will be available.

Begin the New Year by enjoying the Wildlands Conservancy’s newest nature preserve and first day hike, set for 10 a.m.-noon Jan. 1, 2025, at the Northwest entrance at Black River Sanctuary, 1300 Black River Road, Bethlehem.

Led by Wildlands Conservancy President Chris Kocher, this easy-to-moderate hike offers a unique opportunity to explore the sanctuary and natural features. Kocher will share the history of the property and its connection to the area.
