Liberty falls to Easton in pool

The Liberty Hurricanes hosted Easton in their swimming and diving season opener and posted 10 first-place finishes in a boys 180-107 and a girls 164-143 loss to the Red Rovers on Dec. 3.

Lilah McClarin, Leah Onia, Katie Bruno, and Sophia O’Hara combined to win the 200 medley relay with a time of 57.02.

Audrey Bloss-Ferry took first place in the 200 IM with a time of 2:28.63, and Bruno came in second in 2:34.50.

Bloss-Ferry also won the 100 butterfly in 1:05.35, and Bruno was second with a time of 1:07.57.

McClarin was the second-place finisher in the 100 backstroke in 1:10.81.

Onia was the 100 breaststroke winner with a time of 1:17.89, and Estella Mikovich took second place in 1:18.78.

In boys races, David Gabrielle, Adam Barlow, Logan Malozi, and Everett Collins won the 200 medley relay in 1:45.52.

Barlow went on to win the 200 IM with a time of 2:07.14.

Jaxson Dorsey won the diving event for the Hurricanes with a 164.40 score.

Gabrielle was first in 100 butterfly in 53.43, and Robert Coddington took second place in 1:02.52.

Collins was the second-place finisher in 100 freestyle with a time of 55.37.

Gabrielle won the 100 backstroke in 54.55, and Barlow won the 100 breaststroke in 1:01.33.
