Stephen M. Bohunicky, 71, of Northampton, died Nov. 29, 2024.

Born in Northampton, he was the son of the late Joseph and Marion Bohunicky.

He graduated from Northampton High School in 1970 and attended Lehigh County Community College.

Throughout his career, he was known for his dedication and craftsmanship, spending many years as an assembler at Mack Trucks. He also applied his skills as a welder for Gordon Metals Corporation and later served as a quality inspector contributing to major highway projects for the state of Pennsylvania.

He was an artist with a passion for creating unique welded metal artworks, which were sold and displayed throughout the Lehigh Valley.

He was a life member of Blue Ridge Rod and Gun Club.

He is survived by a daughter, Stephanie of Breinigsville; two granddaughters, Caylee and Cecelia of Breinigsville; a brother, Joseph Jr. of Macungie; a sister, Dolores Kalb of Allentown; a brother, Brian; and a sister-in-law, Teddi of Pittsboro, N.C.

He was predeceased by a brother-in-law, Robert Kalb.

Services will be private.

In lieu of contributions, he requested everyone plant a tree in his memory.
