Ralph S. “Rusty” Ebert, 79, of Northampton, died on Nov. 28, 2024, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg Campus.
He was the husband of Joan D. (Wimmer) Ebert.
Born Sept. 22, 1945, in Allentown, he was the son of the late Josephine A. (Rechtor) Ebert.
He faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
A truck driver for Tommy Burke Provisions, Catasauqua, for 25 years before retiring, before that, he managed the former Lehigh Valley Food Distributors.
He was a member of Union United Church of Christ, Neffs.
In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by sons Kevin W. Ebert (Kelly) of New Tripoli, Kyle S. Ebert (Karen) of Walnutport, and Korey A. Ebert (Amy) of Walnutport; daughter-in-law Bonnie Ebert of Perkasie; brothers John Ebert of Lehigh Township, and Ronald Ebert (Sue) of Gilbertsville; 13 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by son, Keith R. Ebert.
