Linda M. (Odenath) Myers, 80, of Macungie, died Nov. 27, 2024, in her home. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late David R. Odenath Sr. and Mary A. (Terpeluk) Odenath.

She earned her master’s degree in education from Lehigh University. She was a first grade teacher at Schnecksville Elementary School, Parkland School District, for many years before retiring in 2011.

She was a member of New Covenant Christian Community Church, Bethlehem. She was an avid Philadelphia sports fan; she especially enjoyed rooting for the Eagles. She found great joy from traveling all around the world, having visited Africa, Italy and taking annual trips to Alaska to visit her daughter, Kim and her grandchildren.

She is survived by children, Kimberly L. Wylde and her husband, David, of Anchor Point, Alaska, Sandra R. Kreiner and her husband, Douglas, of Macungie, Brian Hedenberg and his wife, Kathy, of Harrisburg; siblings, Nancy Tortoreti, of Monroe, N.J., Connie Hegyi, of Logan Township, N.J., David R. Odenath and his wife, Ellen, of Longboat Key, Fla.; grandchildren, Dylan, Sierra, Cassidy, Zakary, Gabrielle, Sam, Jackson.

A celebration of life will be held 11 a.m. Jan. 4, 2025, at New Covenant Christian Church, 126 S. Church S., Macungie. Family and friends may pay their respects 10:30-11 a.m. in the church.
