Whitehall fire department lieutenant
Keith W. Grim, 82, of Ruchsville, died Dec. 6, 2024, in Lehigh Valley Hospice Inpatient Unit, Allentown. He was the husband of the late Sandra E. (Horwith) Grim.
Born in Coplay, he was the son of the late Henry E. and Bessie D. (Proctor) Grim.
He served in the U.S. Air Force during a peacetime era.
He was employed at the former Bethlehem Steel for many years before retiring in 1998. Since his formal retirement, he worked for the Parkland School District as a hall monitor before retiring in 2017.
He was a lieutenant and volunteer firefighter for Whitehall Township Fire Department Station 39, Egypt, for many years.
He was a member of Chapman Lodge 637, North Catasauqua, and Siegfried Royal Arch Chapter 295, Northampton. He formerly was a youth baseball coach with Ormrod Youth Association.
He was a member of Union United Church of Christ, Neffs.
He is survived by a son, Scott C. and wife Lee of Whitehall; three brothers, James R. Proctor of Northampton, Larry L. of Germansville and Eugene H. and wife Joanne of Bethlehem Township; two granddaughters, Courtney and Kyleigh; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a son, Kevin K.; and a brother, George S.
