Keith W. Grim
Keith W. Grim, 82, of Ruchsville, died Dec. 6, 2024, in Lehigh Valley Hospice Inpatient Unit, Allentown.
He was the husband of the late Sandra E. (Horwith) Grim.
Born June 28, 1942, in Coplay, he was the son of the late Henry E. and Bessie D. (Proctor) Grim.
He faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Air Force during a peacetime era.
He was employed at the former Bethlehem Steel Corp. for many years before retiring in 1998.
Since his formal retirement, he worked for the Parkland School District as a hall monitor before retiring in 2017.
He loved this job so much because the students made his job the best ever.
He raved about the experience and the caliber of fine students at Parkland High School.
He touched many lives in hopes of fostering a lasting impact.
Active in the life of his community, he was a lieutenant and volunteer firefighter for the Whitehall Township Fire Department, Station 39, Egypt, for many years. He was a member of Chapman Lodge 637, F.&A.M, North Catasauqua and Siegfried Royal Arch Chapter 295, Northampton.
He formerly was a youth baseball coach with Ormrod Youth Association.
He was a member of Union United Church of Christ, Neffs.
He will be forever remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother.
His survivors include son Scott C. Grim and his wife, Lee, of Whitehall; brothers James R. Proctor of Northampton, Larry L. Grim of Germansville, and Eugene H. Grim and his wife, Joanne, of Bethlehem Township; granddaughters Courtney and Kyleigh; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a son, Kevin K. Grim, and a brother, George S. Grim.
