Jason T. Kern, 53, of Schnecksville, died unexpectedly Nov. 29, 2024, at his home.

Born Sept. 18, 1971, in Allentown, he was the son of L. Thomas and Nancy L. (Lichtenwalner) Kern, with whom he resided.

He played basketball and football for Parkland High School, graduating in 1990.

He was a carpenter and mechanic at the former NKI Builders, Schnecksville, for 20 years.

An avid fisherman, he enjoyed the camaraderie as a member of Ranger Rod and Gun Club.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother Todd D. Kern of Schnecksville; and nephews Nicholas D. Kern (Haley), and Jacob D. Kern.

Family and friends may pay their respects 6:30-8 p.m. Dec. 27 in Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville.

A private memorial service will take place at the convenience of the family.

Interment will conclude services at Cedar Church Cemetery, South Whitehall.
