Florence J. (Steltzman) Marchetto, 87, of Whitehall, died Dec. 8, 2024. She was the wife of Elwood “Woody” Marchetto for 64 years.

She was a graduate of Whitehall High School.

She held jobs with PPL Electric and as a secretary with the former Daveland Co. (Vistacom Inc.) for many years before moving to the Allentown Health Bureau as clerk from which she retired.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, John and wife Karen; two grandchildren, Cortney Marchetto and husband Brent Murach and Anthony and wife Anne; one great-grandchild, Maira; a sister, Judith Chajnacki; and a brother, Frank.

There will be a calling time 9:30 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian burial 10:30 a.m., Dec. 18 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 3024 S. Ruch St., Whitehall.
