Colleen Elizabeth Bear, of Allentown, died Dec. 3, 2024, after a battle with lung cancer.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Edward J. and Elizabeth (Sophy) Kennedy.

She graduated from Allentown Central Catholic High School in 1971.

She worked for many years as a controller, most recently for Wayne Akers Ford in Lake Worth, Fla. She retired in May and moved back to Allentown to be closer to her family.

She is survived by three step children, Kristen Cwynar and husband Matthew, Michelle Le and husband Justin and Matthew and wife Morgan; a brother, Thomas Kennedy and wife Janice; a sister, Donna Kennedy; three nieces, Colleen, Heather and Shawna; and six grandchildren.
