Kimler travels with ROTC

Kyle S. Kimler, of Bethlehem, a University of Scranton ROTC cadet and criminal justice major, participated in the Cadet Summer Training Advanced Camp. The camp took place in Fort Knox, Kentucky.

Kimler traveled throughout the United States and internationally as participants in military leadership programs. The U.S. Army’s 35-day program was designed to develop a cadet’s critical thinking and problem-solving skills, among other leadership qualifications.

ESU student Rincon attends W.E.P.

Isabella Rincon, a junior majoring in political science from Bethlehem, applied for the Workforce Exploration Program and was accepted with a full scholarship to participate. The November 7 to 10 Washington Center, Washington, D.C. event focused generally on career-connected skill including in-depth understandings of trends impacting the workforce, how employers are responding to changes in where and how work happens and examining the skills for the future. Students were challenged to define the reputation they wanted to have and the kind of words and ideas they wanted associated with them.
