NORTH WHITEHALL Union UCC to sponsor Lights in the Grove

Union United Church of Christ, Neffs, will host the Lights in the Grove celebration 3-5 p.m. on Dec. 7.
Everyone is invited to come and enjoy crafts, snacks and hot chocolate while viewing the holiday display from Christmas Decor.
Santa will be present for photos and to accept letters from children with gift requests.
Donations of hats and gloves for people in need may be brought to the event.
Sponsored by Larry, Phil and Julie Wehr, the lights will shine throughout the holiday season.
Luminaries in honor or in memory of special individuals will be lit every day of December through Christmas Eve.

The Parkland High School Chorale will present a Christmas concert 7 p.m. Dec. 15 at Union United Church of Christ, Neffs.
This annual program provides an opportunity for the community to see and hear talented high schoolers at their best.

The youth of St. John’s United Church of Christ, 1415 Rising Sun Road, Laurys Station, will present a Christmas play at the 10:15 a.m. worship service on Dec. 15,
Afterward, everyone is invited to enjoy a soup and bread lunch in fellowship hall.

The kitchen in the Family Life Center of Union Lutheran Church was recently dedicated to Chef Terry Hoffman for his many years of service.
Hoffman prepared great food for church events, special occasions and fundraisers.

The Upper Lehigh Lions Club celebrated its 77th Charter Night at Lehigh Career and Technical Institute, Schnecksville.
The group enjoyed a carving station with baked ham, and music and entertainment,
Lions Club President Ken Ritter reports the club served food at two Parkland football games in October and made more than 500 hoagies for a fundraiser.
The club also contributed cash and needed items to the Tennessee disaster relief effort for distribution to people impacted by adverse weather events.
