The Whitehall swim team traveled to Pocono Mountain West on Tuesday to start their season and ended up with a split. The girls won 131-28 while the boys fell 90-71.

Ryann Giedl, Jenna Giedl and Kendall Bashore all won two individual events on the day.

Ryann Giedl took the 50 free in 31.16 and she also won the 500 free with a time of 7:09.13.

Jenna Giedl took the 100 breaststroke in 1:23.69 and also the 200 free in 2:28.12. Bashore won both the 100 butterfly and 100 back, with times of 1:04.02 and 1:06.01, respectively.

Greta O’Brien captured the 100 free in 1:03.30.

All three relay teams won for the girls. The 200 free team had a time of 2:05.97 and was made up of Rylan Young, Jenna Giedl, O’Brien and Kyra Giedl.

The 200 medley relay team won with a time of 2:41.83. That team was made up of Bashore, Isabella Molina, Kyra Giedl and Hailey Welsh.

The 400 free team of Teairah Hawkins, Young, Bashore and Ryann Giedl won with a time of 5:25.57.

On the boys side, Cameron Herring won two firsts, taking the top spot in the 100 free with a time of 56.96 and also the 200 free in 2:17.33.

Other winners were Johnny Stinner and Glenn Kline. Stinner won the 100 fly in 1:06.32 and Kline took the 200 IM in 2:28.85.
