Northampton AARP Chapter 3915 will meet Dec. 11 in the Atlas Room at Northampton Banquet and Event Center, 1601 Laubach Ave. Doors will open 11 a.m.

This meeting is the annual Christmas party, and only members and their guests with tickets will be admitted.

Northampton Fire Department will hold its annual Santa Run Dec. 14, starting noon.

Parents who would like their child to receive a gift from Santa should bring the gift to the station, 4 Lerchenmiller Drive, 6-8 p.m. Dec. 11, 12 or 14. The gift should be wrapped and no bigger than a shoe box. The child’s name and address, as well as the parent’s phone number, should be clearly marked on the gift. The address must be within borough limits.

Santa will arrive on a firetruck on the day of the event.

As a reminder, orders from the nut roll sale at Assumption of the Virgin Mary Ukrainian Orthodox Church can be picked up 10 a.m.-noon Dec. 14 at the church, 1301 Newport Ave.
