District News: Little Shopper’s Shop is here

The Little Shopper’s Shop program will soon be here. Students will be bringing home details and information for parents/guardians to review. It’s a fun way for students to share the holiday spirit, shop for family and friends and learn about budgeting.

• Zephyr Elementary School: continues through Dec. 9

• First-grade students at Gockley Elementary: 5-6:30 p.m. Dec. 5

Whitehall High School’s winter concert will be 7 p.m. Dec. 10 in the school auditorium. Come kick off your holidays with some festive performances!

Instant decision dates for college and university acceptance will be coming to WHS. Students must apply to the institution prior to the event. Sign up to meet with them using the links provided on the WHS website and then be present to meet with their acceptance counselor on the visit day.

Remember, acceptance to a four-year college can be used as evidence for the Alternative Assessment Pathway. Use code ESU2025 when applying to waive the application fee.

Cedar Crest College will be present 9 a.m. Dec. 16.

Whitehall-Coplay PTO PLUS will be holding a benefit spirit night 4-8 p.m. Dec. 12 at Sky Zone, Schoenersville Road, Bethlehem. This event is open to kindergarten to fifth-grade students. Come join the fun!

The PTO will earn $5 on every ticket sold online and $4 on every ticket sold at the door. A ticket includes two hours of jumping for the price of one.

Did you know there are free passes to national parks? The Every Kid Outside program provides free access to national parks and public lands for all U.S. fourth-graders and their families. The initiative aims to inspire children to explore nature, foster an appreciation for the environment and encourage outdoor activities.
