Salem United Church of Christ, 615 Third St., will be hosting a cookies and cocoa with Santa event, set for 1-3 p.m. Dec. 7. Come enjoy free hot chocolate and cookies and bring your camera to take pictures with Santa.

There will be a free gift for the children and crafts with Miss Cathy.

The Biery House Holiday Shoppe, 8 Race St., will be open to the public 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Dec. 7 and 8.

Stop by for unique homemade gifts and home decor from more than 50 crafters. Proceeds benefit Historic Catasauqua Preservation Association and Mrs. Nothstein’s Helping Hands.

Parking is in the rear, so enter from Union Street. For GPS directions, enter 5 W. Union St.

Catty Kindlmart will be held 2-5 p.m. Dec. 8 at borough hall, 90 Bridge St. The event will feature local crafts 4 p.m., followed by Santa’s arrival and the tree lighting 5 p.m.

The Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church choir and bell choir will be performing 4-5 p.m.

The Morning Glories of Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church will next meet 10 a.m. Dec. 9 at the church, 604 Fourth St. This event is the Christmas party with a buffet meal.

Note: This is the second Monday of this month.

Operation Santa Claus, sponsored by Catasauqua Fire Department, will take place with delivery 10 a.m. Dec. 15 for both Catasauqua and North Catasauqua residents.

Gifts can be dropped off 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Dec. 8 and 6-9 p.m. Dec. 11 and 13 at the fire department, 90 Bridge St. Gifts must be marked clearly with the child’s name and address.

Donations are not required but appreciated.
