Emmaus High School graduate
Bradford John Banks, 74, of Quakertown, died Nov. 27, 2024. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Dr. Walter A. and Ann Gloria (Walacavage) Banks.
He graduated from Emmaus High School in 1968. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Muhlenberg College in 1972 and earned his master’s degree in psychology from Kutztown University. He worked as a mental health counselor.
He was a very intelligent individual who loved astronomy and collecting trilobite fossils. He also enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and was an avid Phillies fan.
He is survived by his brother, Walter II and his wife, Francine; sisters, Brenda Kozak and Beryl “Mitzi” Micek and her husband, Thomas; nephews, Kent, Kraig, Bryan, Kevin, Scott and Kory.
Services will be held 11 a.m. Dec. 7 in the Schantz Funeral Home, P.C. 250 Main St., Emmaus. A viewing will be held 10-11 a.m.
