Billy Lee Kirkpatrick

Vietnam War veteran

Billy Lee Kirkpatrick, 82, of Alburtis, died Nov. 23, 2024, at St. Luke’s Hospice House. He was the husband of Kathleen (Petrylak) Kirkpatrick for 20 years. Born in Covington, Ky., he was the son of the late Margie (Grimm) Kirkpatrick.

He was a supervisor for the Dial Corp. from 1967 until he retired in 2003.

He honorably served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the American Legion, the Forty and Eight, the Moose and the Honor Guard of the American Legion. He was a member of Masonic Lodge 327 of Pennsylvania.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons, Jeffrey Kakaley (Amy), of Macungie, Robert Kakaley (Cindy), of Snohomish, Wash., Michael Kakaley (Sherry), of Millville; grandchildren, Harrison, Oliver, Penelope, Emma and Abby; brother-in-law, James Elliot; sister-in-law, Janette Taylor; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Michael Lee in 1981.
