Barry L. Stopay Sr., 75, of Northampton, died Nov. 22, 2024, at his home. He was the husband of Sharon (Moyer) Stopay for 52 years.

He was the son of the late Metro and Gloria (Lerch) Stopay.

He was a 1967 graduate of Northampton High School and graduated from Northampton Community College.

He worked for General Electric, Allied Signal and, most recently, BBraun, before retiring in 2013.

He is survived by two sons, Barry L. Jr. and wife Nicole of Walnutport and Scott M. and wife Jill of New Tripoli; a daughter, Amy D. Gannon and husband Christopher of Catasauqua; a sister, Brenda J. of Northampton; eight grandchildren, Zach and wife Jenna, Jacob, Aiden, Taylor, Luke, Paige, Quinn and Norah; and a great-granddaughter, Vida.
