CONTRIBUTED PHOTOSRecently, the Salisbury cheerleaders organized the Varsity Gold Out Game as a fundraiser to benefit the Pediatric Cancer Foundation of the Lehigh Valley. The middle school and high school cheerleaders sold Gold Out T-shirts leading up to the game and hosted a bake sale at the varsity football game. They also sold gold bead necklaces to fans. The Gold Out night was paired with youth night and the Salisbury Youth Association cheerleaders cheered with the high school cheerleaders on the track during the first half of the game. The night was a huge success and it was amazing to see the stands and the track full of gold T-shirts.Following the game, two of the varsity captains Giana Cerco and Zaira Stokes delivered a check for $1,625 to PCFLV.
