Macungie Borough Council held its regularly scheduled meeting Dec. 2 at the Macungie Institute.

Council has created an ordinance regarding parking of recreational and large vehicles and has determined traffic conditions within the borough with large vehicles parked along roadways has become hazardous and unsafe. This ordinance is being advertised.

Macungie Ambulance provided its monthly report. There were 400 calls with 27 of them within the borough.

Mayor Ron Conrad reminded residents about the tree lighting 7 p.m. Dec. 6 in the Flower Garden. Macungie Holiday is Dec. 14 at various locations throughout the borough.

The bill list was approved. The minutes from the Nov. 18 meeting were approved.

The next Macungie Borough Council meeting will be held 7:30 p.m. Dec. 16 at the Macungie Institute, 510 E. Main St., Macungie.
