Andor Kovács, 84, of Bethlehem Township, died Nov. 25, 2024. Born in Kondorfa, Hungary, he was a son of the late llonka and the late Joszef Kovács, who was born in Bethlehem; Andor held dual citizenship. He was the husband of Judith (Lander) Kovács for 53 years.
After leaving Hungary in 1956 to join his uncles, he worked in restaurants including Walp’s Restaurant, Allentown. He was a home builder and subcontractor for 59 years.
He was a life member of East Bath Rod and Gun Club, the Heights A.A. and ICC Miller Heights.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Catharine Kovács Blair; a daughter-in-law, Andrea Kovács Rose (Rich); a granddaughter, Lyndee Michael Kovács; a grandson, Daniel Rose; a sister, Marika Toth in Hungary; nieces; nephews; and cousins.
He was predeceased by a son, Michael Robert Kovács; and a brother, Joszef Nagy.
