Come out to North Catasauqua William J. Albert Memorial Park, 701 Grove St., for the annual North Catasauqua small Town USA tree lighting 6 p.m. Dec. 1.

Have your pictures taken with Santa and Mrs. Claus and enjoy festive holiday music from the Catasauqua Bell Choir 5:30-6 p.m. and Catasauqua Community Choir throughout the event. There will be light refreshments for everyone, including cookies and hot cocoa. Stroll around the park to view the holiday light displays.

Residents and visitors are encouraged to bring a canned good or nonperishable food item to be given to the local food bank. The North Catasauqua Police Department will be collecting unwrapped toys for Toys for Tots.

The rain date for this event is 6 p.m. Dec. 2.
