The John Kalynych Foundation was begun as a memorial to John Kalynych, a firefighter, hazardous materials and rescue first responder for more than 30 years.
Kalynych died from a heart attack while responding to a fire call Sept. 28, 2023.
The John Kalynych Foundation is dedicated to raising the funds to support training opportunities for first responders.
