During the week of Nov. 18-22, ACCHS competed against Becahi in “Penny Wars.” Each grade had their own collecting jug in which they donated pennies to gain “points.” To decrease another grade’s score, students could put silver coins in their jugs. All money raised during this week was donated to Mercy School for Special Learning by the ACCHS BFF Club. The school that raises the most money wins the “Penny Wars.” The grade at Central Catholic with the most “points” wins a “Spirit Dress Down Day.”
The Vikings for Gold Club is spreading Christmas joy by assembling Christmas gift boxes for pediatric cancer patients. Club members worked together after school Nov. 20 to decorate gift boxes and fill them with toys.
