Clarence E. Jenkins, 94, of New Tripoli, died Nov. 23, 2024, in Cornerstone Living, New Tripoli.

He was the widower of the late Rosemarie (Krutzer) Jenkins.

Born in North Brunswick, N.J., he was the son of the late Ruben and Edna (Poffarl) Jenkins.

A 1949 graduate of New Brunswick High School, he went on to serve his country in the Army National Guard and U.S. Army Reserves for 30 years.

A plumber and pipe fitter with Local 9 Union in New Jersey, after retirement, he enjoyed running his own screen-printing business — Eddie’s Custom T’s — out of his home.

He was a lifetime member of Elks Lodge in East Brunswick, N.J.

His survivors include his son, Larry (Nenita) Jenkins, of New Ringgold; and daughter Lynda (Richard) Bronzelino, Calif.

He was predeceased by his son, Clarence E. Jenkins Jr.

A memorial service will be held in East Brunswick at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to help offset his final expenses may be sent to Nester Funeral Home, 8405 Kings Highway, New Tripoli, PA 18066.
