Holiday parking and busing

The Bethlehem Parking Authority, in partnership with the Downtown Bethlehem Association, is pleased to announce its 2024 Christmas season parking and transportation plan. The initiative includes expanded parking options, valet services and fare-free shuttles to ensure visitors enjoy the city’s Christmas festivities without the stress of parking. The special services will be offered every Friday and Saturday beginning Nov. 29 and ending Dec. 21.

Event Parking Garage and Lot Details

A Special Event Parking rate of only $5 will be offered Fridays from 4-9 p.m. (Nov. 29 will be noon-9 p.m.) and Saturdays 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the following convenient parking locations:

• North Street Garage

• Main Street Commons

• Johnston Park

• West Lehigh Street Lot

• Broad Street Lot

On-Street Event Parking

In the absence of the Walnut Street Garage, certain 3-hour max Flex Zone metered blocks will be designated 10-hour blocks. These $1.50 per hour meters will be marked with a 10-hour MAX sticker, identifying their temporary 10-hour MAX time. These meters will be located on,

• East Broad Street between Long and Center streets.

• North New Street between Market and Church streets.

“Our goal is to make parking as convenient as possible, so visitors can spend more time enjoying Bethlehem and less time worrying about parking. The expanded parking options, valet services and shuttle services are part of our continued commitment to improving the visitor experience,” said Steven

Fernstrom, executive director of the Bethlehem Parking Authority.

Valet Parking Services

To further enhance customer convenience, the BPA is introducing valet parking services by Open Door Valet at select locations, giving visitors the option to skip parking entirely. The valet stands will be clearly marked with vibrant signage.

•Fridays: 3-11 p.m.

•Saturdays: 10 a.m.-11 p.m.

Valet costs range from $10 to $30, with pickup locations at:
