Moravian University sophomore middle blocker Payton Reuber (Northampton) has been honored as the Landmark Conference Women’s Volleyball Athlete of the Week for her performance last week.

Reuber helped the Greyhounds to a 2-0 week to close out the 2024 Landmark Conference season. She had 25 kills, five blocks, five service aces and five digs to go with a .279 hitting percentage. Reuber scored 24.5 points in Moravian’s 3-1 win over The Catholic University of America with 30 kills, five blocks, five digs and two service aces while hitting .356. She added five kills and three service aces in a sweep of Goucher College.

“Payton has been an incredible asset in the middle this season,” noted Head Coach Shelley Bauder. “Her knack for spotting gaps in the opponent’s defense played a crucial role in securing our victory over Catholic University. With 20 kills and a hitting percentage over .350 in a four-set match, Payton’s performance was truly outstanding – a clear reflection of her talent and influence on the court.”
