Liberty announced the signing of two seniors last week, as Franklin Pichardo and Bailey Corrigan made their college announcements public.

Pichardo will go on to play baseball next year in the Big Ten for the University of Maryland and Corrigan will attend Division II South Carolina-Aiken to continue her volleyball career.

Pichardo was a first-team EPC selection last season at catcher, hitting .342 with 27 RBI, helping Liberty win the EPC title and District 11 championship a year ago. The Hurricanes are in the midst of a golden era of baseball, winning the past two league crowns and three district titles.

Corrigan was one of three EPC volleyball MVP’s this season and helped Liberty win their first district title in 22 years. She finished her career with a school record 1,908 points.
