Union United Church of Christ, Neffs, will welcome the music group Alathea at the 8 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. worship services on Nov. 24.
Performers Mandee and Cristi are not only musicians, but also storytellers and community builders.
They are joined by a new band member, Calvin.
Church organizers report Alathea participants have a gift for sharing their faith and God’s love in a way that is authentic and inspiring.

Community Fire Co. No. 1, Schnecksville, will host an all-you-can-eat buffet breakfast from 8 a.m.-noon Nov. 24.
This will be the last breakfast for 2024, but watch for them to resume in the new year.
Fire company volunteers thank the community for support of the recent 100th anniversary celebration and all the fire protection efforts and fundraising events which comprise that history.

St. John’s United Church of Christ, 1415 Rising Sun Road, Laurys Station, welcomes the community to a Thanksgiving Eve service at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 27.
On Dec. 6, the Glenn Hofmann Trio will present “A Dolcetto Christmas.”
Doors open 5:30 p.m. Concert begins 6 p.m.
The harmonies and instrumentation of Glenn and Debra Hofmann and Jeff Halbert will give the holiday a great start.
