Northampton Borough is having an electronics recycling event 10 a.m.-noon Nov. 23 in the back parking lot of Northampton Banquet and Event Center, 1601 Laubach Ave.

The borough will be taking computers and their peripherals, phones, small appliances, metal items and many other things free of charge; however, televisions and larger appliances have varying fees.

This event is open to only Northampton Borough residents. Make sure you have your ID.

Assumption of the Virgin Mary Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 1301 Newport Ave., is holding a nut roll sale. The available flavors are apricot, lekvar, nut, poppy seed, red raspberry and pumpkin roll.

Call for prices and to place orders with Marty at 610-682-4458 no later than Nov. 25. Order pickup is set for 10 a.m.-noon Dec. 14 at the church.

The borough tree lighting will take place 5:30 p.m. Dec. 1 in the recreation center parking lot, 1 Lerchenmiller Drive.
