St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church member
Jerome Aurelio Ciocco, 89, of Allentown, died Nov. 9, 2024. He was the husband of the late Theresa Ciocco.
Born in Mount Carmel, he was a son of the late Frank and Caroline Ciocco.
He graduated from Mount Carmel High School.
He served honorably in the U.S. Navy, as an aviation boatswain’s mate on the USS Intrepid CVA-11.
He was a parishioner of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Roman Catholic Church, Whitehall.
He is survived by two daughters, Dr. Gina Ciocco-Schmitt and husband Jeffrey and Lisa McCaffrey and husband Hugh; two granddaughters, Kaylie and Cara Schmitt; a grandson, Craig McCaffrey; and a brother, Francis and wife Nancy.
There will be a calling time 9 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian burial 10 a.m., Nov. 25 at the church, 618 Fullerton Ave., Whitehall.
