Salisbury Elementary School will have 1:15 p.m. dismissals Nov. 21, 22, 25 and 26 for parent teacher conferences which begin 1:30 p.m.
Salisbury Middle School will have 12:15 p.m. dismissals Nov. 25 and 26 for parent teacher conferences.
Looking ahead, as it will be here before we know it … all Salisbury schools will be closed for Thanksgiving break Nov. 27 through Dec. 2. Schools will reopen Dec. 3. Please make adjustments as needed.
It is almost that time of year – the time for the schools to present their winter concerts.
Salisbury High School will host its annual winter concert 7 p.m. Dec. 5 in the school auditorium.
SMS will hold its concert 7 p.m. Dec. 12 in the school auditorium.
SES will split its concerts over two days. Kindergarten will perform 9:15 a.m. and first grade will perform 10:15 a.m. Dec. 12. On Dec. 13, second grade will perform 9:15 a.m and a combination of third and fourth grade will perform 10:15 a.m.
The township yard waste drop off sites are open. The Devonshire site will be open Nov. 21 and 23 and the Franko site will be open Nov. 25 and 30. Drop off sites will be closed Nov. 28 for the Thanksgiving holiday. The sites are open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays. All drop off sites will close for the year after Nov. 30.
The Allentown Public Library will display some of the 400 dolls in its collection during the month of December. The vast assortment of dolls from many different countries were donated by Harriet Backenstoe and Dorothy Knauss to the Allentown Public Library, 1210 Hamilton St., Allentown.
