David A. Brown, 68, of Orefield, died suddenly on Oct. 15, 2024, in North Whitehall Township.

He and his wife, Debra A. (Rau) Brown, were married 49 years.

Born Dec. 4, 1955, in Allentown, he was the son of the late George C. and Jean L. (Bendel) Brown.

He was a machinist and mechanic at Nestle Purina, formerly ALPO, for 43 years before retiring in 2022.

He was a member of Jordan United Church of Christ, South Whitehall.

In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by daughter Michelle L. Neff and her husband, Joseph, of Lehighton; brothers Donald E. Brown and his wife, Karen, of Orefield, and Harry L. Brown and his wife, Alice, of Orefield; and grandsons Joseph M. Brown of Orefield, and Mason A. Neff of Lehighton.

A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.

There will be no public calling hours.
