Congratulations to the Catasauqua Middle School November Roughies of the Month. The honored students are Salome Ramirez, fifth grade; Keats Ramstine, sixth grade; Payson Bortz, seventh grade; Ruby Moore, eighth grade; and Cayden Caban, related arts.

The students will be recognized at the Dec. 3 Catasauqua Area School District Board of Education meeting.

CMS has early dismissal Nov. 21. The students will be dismissed 12:20 p.m.

Parent-teacher conferences will be held later in the day.

Thanksgiving festivities are approaching.

Turkey Day spirit week will feature different themes for each day.

• Nov. 25: Wear your jersey or sports shirt.

• Nov. 26: Wear yellow and blue for suicide prevention.

• Nov. 27: Wear school colors of brown and white.

CMS students will take part in the Turkey Day pep rally at Catasauqua High School Nov. 27. There will be early dismissal Nov. 27, with CMS students being dismissed 11 a.m.

Schools will be closed for the holiday break Nov. 28-Dec. 2. Classes resume Dec. 3.
