Charles E. Deutsch, 84, formerly of Alburtis, died Nov. 14, 2024, in Lehigh Valley Hospital — Muhlenberg. He was the husband of the late Margaret M. (Groark) Deutsch. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Charles E. Deutsch Sr. and Catherine (McElroy) Yarema.

He was a salesman for Synthetic Thread for many years, retiring in 2003.

He was a member of the Mercantile Club of Emmaus and was an avid golfer. He was an active and avid member of DCI and the Reading Buccaneers.

He will be remembered by his daughters, Meredith M. and her husband, Brian Rodgers, of Emmaus and Megan M. and her husband, Tim Stauffer, of Glassboro, N.J.; grandchildren, Mya, Natalie and Seamus.

A memorial service will be held noon Nov. 22 in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus. Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m. to noon in the funeral home.
