Lehigh Gap Nature Center, 8844 Paint Mill Road, Slatington, will be holding its monthly Cabin Fever Book Club meetings 10 a.m. to noon November 2024 to March 2025.

The Cabin Fever Book Club meets once a month during the fall and winter months to discuss books on ecology, environmental history, and environmentalism.

Books are available at the Palmerton and Slatington libraries, Lehigh Gap Nature Center or on Amazon to purchase.

This year’s book list include:

·Nov. 21: “Ministry for the Future” (2020) by Kim Stanley Robinson.

·Dec. 19: “Crab Wars” (second edition, 2021) by William Sargent.

·Jan. 15, 2025: “Brave the Wild River” (2023) by Melissa L. Sevigny.

·Feb. 20, 2025: “The Secrets of Wildflower” (2023) by Jack Sanders.

·March 20, 2025: “Fire Weather” (2023) by John Vaillant.
