The next Death Cafe is planned for 6:30 p.m. Nov. 18. A Death Cafe is a group-directed discussion of death with no agenda, objectives or themes. It is a discussion group rather than a grief support or counseling session.

The group meets the third Monday of the month.

A memoir writing program is planned for 6:30 p.m. Nov. 19. Join Gabrielle Esposito, of Write Your Way, in this transformative workshop designed to guide participants through the act of memoir writing.

This program is held on Zoom, so you can watch from a screen in the library or from home.

Creation Station: Bridge Building is set for 6 p.m. Nov. 20. This month, kids will have fun with architecture as they build bridges.

Creation Station, for grades 3-6, provides youth STEAM projects once a month.

The library will host a series of family holiday events, including stories, activities and crafts, 1:30 p.m. Wednesdays. Our themes are Hanukkah Dec. 4, Christmas Dec. 11 and Kwanzaa Dec. 18.

Storytime yoga for ages 6-10 is planned for 5 p.m. Dec. 9, and storytime yoga for ages 2-5 is scheduled for 10 a.m. Dec. 12.

The library will accept Toys for Tots donations through Dec. 16. Please donate new, unopened toys.

The library has a number of clubs that meet monthly.

The book club for adults meets 1 p.m. the first Thursday of every month. Come discuss what you’re currently reading.

The coloring club for adults meets 11 a.m. the first and third Thursdays and 5:30-7:30 p.m. the first Tuesday.

The Good Yarn group meets for knitting, crocheting and other needle crafts 6 p.m. the third Tuesday of the month.

Teens interested in volunteering can join the Teen Advisory Board. Meetings are 1:30 p.m. one Saturday a month. Check our calendar for dates.
