West Catasauqua Fire Company volunteer
Ralston “Angie” A. Anglestein, 93, of West Catasauqua, died Oct. 28, 2024, at Cornerstone Living, New Tripoli. He was the husband of the late LaRue E. (Oswald) Anglestein for 65 years.
Born in West Catasauqua, he was a son of the late Ralston R. and Helen C. (Tureck) Anglestein.
He was a 1949 graduate of Whitehall High School.
He worked as a sewing machine mechanic at the former Fuller Sportswear Company for 44 years. After retirement, he worked and drove for Ruhe Motors in Allentown.
He was a member of the former St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Catasauqua.
He was a life member of Fullerton Fire Company No. 1. Earlier in life, he was a volunteer for West Catasauqua Fire Company.
He is survived by a daughter, Deborah Frey and husband John; a son, Michael and wife Barbara; four grandchildren, Emily Snyder and husband Jayson, Aaron Frey with Kristy Graybill, Christopher and wife Catherine and Stephanie Gardnier and husband Thomas; four great-grandchildren and one on the way.
He was predeceased by a sister, Catherine E.
Services will be private.
