Joseph Lahner, 98, of Northampton, died Nov. 6, 2024, at Renaissance Home, Northampton. He was the husband of the late Emma (Schatz) for 61 years.

Born in Northampton, he was the son of the late Alois and Maria (Lahner) Grohotolski.

He worked at the former H. Leh & Co. for 18 years. Earlier, he worked at Giant Cement.

He was a member of Queenship of Mary Church, Northampton.

He belonged to the St. Joseph Sick and Benefit Club.

He is survived by two daughters, Wilma Wittreich and Diane Yandrisevits; three grandsons, Louis, Joseph and wife Christine and Michael and wife Christine; six great-grandchildren, Brian, Michael, Justin, Joseph, Courtney and Shannon; and three great-great grandchildren, Alexander, Alessandra and Skylar.

Contributions may be presented to the church, 1324 Newport Ave., Northampton.
