Lotteries talk scheduled Nov. 26
The Hivel Und Dahl Preservation Society will host the program titled “Lotteries in early America: Funding public projects.”
The talk starts 7 p.m. Nov. 26 at the Upper Milford Township building, 5671 Chestnut St., Old Zionsville.
Edward Johnson will talk about how lotteries have been used to fund public projects such as bridges and churches.
Admission to the program is free.

Free yoga class offered Nov. 14
LVHN Fitness and LVHN Center for Mindfulness will offer a free mindful yoga class to practice meditation with movement 5:30-6:30 p.m. Nov. 14.
The session will be held at the LVHN Health and Wellness Center at Cedar Crest, 1243 S. Cedar Crest Blvd., Allentown.
The session is designed to help participants “unwind with calming, centering movement that combines gentle yoga postures and mindfulness meditation,” according to the LVHN website.
