Fullerton: St. John’s plans dinner

St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 835 Third St., will serve Bruce’s shepherd’s pie dinners 5-7 p.m. Nov. 17. The meal consists of shepherd’s pie, salad, rolls, dessert and beverage.

The order deadline for tickets has passed, but you can call the church office at 610-264-3762 in case there are still tickets available.

This is a fundraiser to help with mission support.

St. Elizabeth of Hungary Roman Catholic Church, 618 Fullerton Ave., parish children, as well as the PREP class students, are working on collecting food items to put together Thanksgiving meal baskets for those in need.

If anyone from the parish can donate turkeys, it will certainly help complete the meal efforts. Contact Mary Spieker at the parish office at 610-266-0695, ext. 208, if you can donate this year.

Turkeys, fresh or frozen, are needed by the week of Nov. 18.
