Ellen M. Navitsky, 66, of Emmaus, died Nov. 6, 2024. Born in Trenton, N.J., she was the daughter of the late James Gleim and Mary Anne (Hageman) Mitchell. She was married to Leonard E. Navitsky for the past 41 years.

She received a Bachelor of Science degree from Penn State University, an MBA from Lehigh University and a master’s degree in education from Kutztown University.

She was an analyst at Air Products, an accountant and later a math teacher in the East Penn School District.

She was a member of St. Ann’s Church, Emmaus.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by son, Michael (Lauren); daughter, Laura; grandson, Alden; siblings, Maureen Mitchell (Robert Rowman), James Gleim (Leslie), Darah Filidore (Doug), Robert Mitchell Jr. (Shannon).

She was predeceased by her sister, Susan Weber; stepfather, Robert Mitchell Sr.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. Nov. 23 at St. Ann’s Church, 415 S. Sixth St., Emmaus.

Arrangements were by Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, Emmaus.
