Bernadine L. Leskowsky, 90, of Allentown, died Nov. 3, 2024, in Parkland Manor in Allentown. Born in Mahanoy City, she was a daughter of the late John and Anna (Leso) Leshko. She was the loving wife of the late Emil Leskowsky for 30 years and the late Richard Whitner for 10 years.

She worked for General Electric as an assembly-line worker in Allentown for 30 years. She then worked as a manager for Bain’s Deli in the Lehigh Valley Mall.

She loved to bake, garden and, after retirement, travel the world. She was a former member of St. Ann’s Church in Emmaus and recent member of St. Thomas More Church in Allentown.

She is survived by her son, David; daughter, Deborah; grandchildren, Lauren, Matthew and Julia. She was predeceased by daughter, Lisa Marie; brother, John Leshko; sisters, Rita Bistronish, Lucy Prossaic and Josephine Mullock.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. Dec. 3 in St. Thomas More Church, 1040 Flexer Ave., Allentown. Visitation will be held 11 a.m. to noon Dec. 4 in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus.
