The Emmaus Lioness Lions Club hosted a free scarf giveaway in Triangle Park, Emmaus, Nov. 2. Visitors were encouraged to take a scarf to help chase the chill of the coming winter season. Members of the Emmaus Lions Lioness Club makes many of the scarves. Conversational Threads Fiber Arts Studio, which offers knitting, crochet and other fiber arts classes and supplies at its location in Emmaus, created and donated 250 scarves for the effort, according to organizers.
