Bernard C. Brandstetter Jr., 67, of Bethlehem, died October 31, 2024, after a long and hard-fought battle with cancer. He was the husband of Laurie Brandstetter.
He attended St. Joseph Catholic School through eighth grade and graduated from Bethlehem Catholic H.S., where he was a member of the undefeated 1974-75 football team. He earned a business degree from Moravian College.
He operated a construction and general maintenance business for more than 30 years.
He was a longtime member of Holy Infancy Parish, Bethlehem. He was an Eucharistic minister and taught CCD for over 20 years. He was proud of his Windish heritage.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Robert; two brothers, Mark (Bernadette) and Kevin (Kathy); nieces and nephews Nicole Mayrosh (Matt), Emily Chuba (Corey), Gianmarc Brandstetter (Angelica), Claudia Brandstetter, Bethanne Brandstetter, Alyssa Brandstetter and Alex McFall; friends and extended family.
Contributions may be made to Holy Infancy Catholic Church, 312 E. Fourth St., Bethlehem, PA 18015.
Arrangements were made by Connell Funeral Home Inc., Bethlehem.
