LEHIGH VALLEY WEATHER

A tale for anyone never destined to save the world

The Liberty HS Theatre Company presents the comedy “Puffs” on Thursday, Nov. 14 at 7 p.m., and Saturday, Nov. 16 at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. in the Liberty HS auditorium theater. “Puffs” was written by playwright Matt Cox. For seven years, a certain boy wizard went to a certain Wizard School and conquered evil. This, however, is not his story. This is the story of the Puffs ... who just happened to be there, too. A tale for anyone who has never been destined to save the world.

Laura Mainiero is the director and is assisted by Ellyce Nieves. Technical director and set builder is Ross Makary, sound engineer is Wes Harris, Light designer is Helena Dougherty, and costume design is by Laura Papera and Betsy Mowrer. Senior theatre leaders are Ben Graybeal and Caroline Lisson.

Tickets are available through the Liberty HS website.

The Narrator (Erika Broesicke) introduces us to baby Harry carried by A Very Tall Man (Nathaniel Velazquez) and the First Headmaster (Maya Caltabiano). A boy destined for greatness ... but this story ... it’s not about him.
