GUEST VIEW November is a great month to enjoy Parkland Library card’s bounty

New this month is a Hublet Tablet Station located in the Tech Center of Parkland Community Library, 4422 Walbert Ave., South Whitehall.

The station allows you to self-checkout one of six tablets for two hours and browse apps inside the library.

The tablets have profiles for kids, teens and adults.

When you are done, just place the tablet back on the stand and your session will be cleared.

As easy as pumpkin pie!

Enjoy numerous weekly story times for kids.

Please keep in mind that story times now require RSVP due to popularity.

In addition, there is Baby Yoga Circle at 10 a.m. Nov. 9; Highlights Club 6:30 p.m. Nov. 14; Kid’s Yoga Story Time 4:30 p.m. on Nov. 18 and 25; Rebel Girls Club 6:30 p.m. Nov. 20 and Young Critics Book Club at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 21.

Special events this month include LEGO Balancing Challenge 2 p.m. Nov. 25 and Tamales for Christmas Story Time Party at 11 a.m. Nov. 30.

Awesome monthly teen events include Dungeon and Dragon nights 6 p.m. on Nov. 18.

New to the game? Please RSVP to get oriented first.

There is also monthly Teen Anime Club 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 13; Teen Drawing Club 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 20; and Teen Advisory Board 6 p.m. Nov. 26.

Join card making with Sending Sunshine 4 p.m. Fridays.

A cornucopia of events for adults include Coloring and Fiber Arts 2 p.m. Thursdays; the Art of Mindful Breathing 6 p.m. on Nov. 12; Short Story Society at 3 p.m. Nov. 14 and Wordsmith at 6 p.m.; Game Day, 1 p.m. on Nov. 15; Sit and Sew 9 a.m. on Nov. 16; Idea Lab, 1-8 p.m. on Nov. 19 and Book Club, 7 p.m.; PCL Jams Unplugged 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 21; DIY Day at 1 p.m. Nov. 26 and Nightime Knitters at 6 p.m.

Special events this month include Holiday Card Making with Susan at 1 p.m. Nov. 16.
