Our dog Daisy likes to spend a lot of time outdoors regardless of the weather. We have a huge spruce tree at the top of a hill in our backyard. Yesterday Ben and I pulled into the driveway. As I looked up the hill, I could just see a little bit of a dog face peering out from under the tree. Daisy had dug a hole under the tree and laid down in it with just her face sticking out. With her brown fur and the golden-brown leaves laying around, it was almost impossible to spot her. In fact, Ben didn’t believe me at first. I joked it was like one of those Hidden Highlights pictures in the children’s magazines.
