Northampton Area Public Library: Collage tea party set for Nov. 7
Adults are welcome to the collage tea party at Northampton Area Public Library 6 p.m. Nov. 7 to enjoy tea and snacks.
The teen version of the event is scheduled for 2 p.m. Nov. 23.

Teens and adults are invited to celebrate National Novel Writing Month with two write-in events, set for 1-4 p.m. Nov. 9 and 16. Bring your ideas and settle in to explore them further with other writers.

Teen clubs will meet Nov. 11. Game Club meets 5 p.m., and the Anime Club meets 6 p.m.

Stitch and Chat, a community craft hour focused on needlework, will be 6 p.m. Nov. 12. Bring your chosen project, and work on it as we snack and talk.

Toni Saby will come to the library 1 p.m. Nov. 13 to explain all the changes to Medicare in the past year. Medicare open enrollment only goes through Dec. 7, so come by to make sure you’re on top of your health!

The Game Club for grades 3-5 will next meet 6-7 p.m. Nov. 14.

Rolling into November, we like to think about gratitude and giving back to our community. The library’s giving turkey is back and ripe for the plucking!
If you have enough for yourself and your family, please think of giving to others in need in our community. Each turkey feather has a particular item on it that is needed by our food banks during this special time of year. Bring your chosen items into the library by Nov. 16.

Family story hour will be held 4:30 p.m. Nov. 18 in the community room. Join us for songs, rhymes and books to enjoy together.

The Once Upon a Crime group will be discussing survival stories 6 p.m. Nov. 18. If you’re sensitive to discussions of violence or under the age of 18, please stay home.

The STEAM Craft Club for grades 3-5 will meet 6-7 p.m. Nov. 21.

A teen art workshop, with refreshments, will be held Nov. 23.

The Friends of NAPL will host its Sip ‘n’ Shop 6-8 p.m. Dec. 6. There will be local artisans to provide you with thoughtful, handcrafted gifts for those in your life who are difficult to shop for.
Ticket sales began Nov. 4. Tickets are discounted if purchased in advance.
